Thematic conferences

THEMATIC CONFERENCES


The multisector-based exhibition will be completed by high level conferences attracting political and economic decision-makers from Vietnam and ASEAN (with an official presence from Laos and Cambodia).

These conferences will tackle two major subjects: health (France’s largest export sector to Vietnam), and the energy sector which represents both the most important French investment in Vietnam and satisfies strong Vietnamese demand.


Energy

The AFD, French Development Agency, will arrange a seminar on energy efficiency (control of energy and clean energy in Vietnam) in which hundreds of decision-makers from the Vietnamese government (ministries, People’s Committees) and about twenty speakers will participate as well as companies from the energy sector.

These conferences will be held in a specific “energy” space and concluded by seminars on the environmentally friendly building and energy management in transport.

Health

The CCIFV Health Committee, with the support and participation of the LEEM (The French Pharmaceutical Companies Association) and the AVES (the Vietnam Europe Health Association), will gather pharmaceutical companies and French health operators established in Vietnam, Vietnamese doctors and representatives in charge of the sector for thematic conferences. Many companies will exhibit within the health space and be involved in the sporting events.


Food-processing

Euro-Toques, the biggest European association gathering over 4000 chefs, will present to the public their expertise through subjects as the vacuum packing and the origin of products, tasting of wines or regional products.
This presentation will be enriched by a food-processing seminar.


Education/Training

This committee will review the existing trainings, their evolution as well as the companies needs.

Two other conferences are scheduled: one organized by the University of Toulouse on the "Intercultural management of the foreign companies ", the other led by the PUF, French University Pole, on "The mathematics and the information technology".
